Don’t Mess with Texas (Cats)

Don’t mess with Texas. Especially Texas cats. That’s what one overly confident coyote recently found out when he chased a cat onto the porch of a home in Texas.

What the coyote thought might make for an easy meal, turned out to be more than what it had bargained for.

Watch the encounter go down in the video below.

Cats disappearing from the  yard, or porch, are not uncommon in areas heavily populated with coyotes. Coyotes will typically slip in at night to eat the cat’s food. When the cat food runs out, they’ll often take the cat, too.

Fortunately for the owner of this cat, it held its own against one of the most brazen predators in the woods.
