The release of Elite Archery’s 2022 flagship bow is finally here! The all-new Elite EnVision is the result of a desire to deliver a target inspired design into a compact and deadly hunting bow.
The Elite Team pulled out all the stops in the design process to bring a shooting experience like no other bow they’ve ever created. The EnVision name comes from that process. Â
The goal was to envision what the shooting experience of a hunting bow could feel like. The result is their finest hunting bow to date, built with increased accuracy in their most shootable bow yet.Â
A Closer Look at the Design
As mentioned above, the EnVision integrates a target inspired design into a compact, stealthy and deadly hunting rig. The design includes wider limbs and a longer, straighter riser, with strategically placed weight position over the grip for a more balanced shooting platform.
Greater accuracy comes standard with a brace height just shy of 7 inches, as well as ample speed driven by the ASYM Tri-Track Cam System with the Versa Performance Mod, for speeds up to 334 FPS.Â

Target Inspired
The latest trend in bow design these days is a move toward target bow accuracy built into a hunting bow package. You see it with the risers at the foundation of these new bows.Â
It’s no different for Elite for the 2022 year. With the riser on the EnVision making up nearly 90% of the axle to axle length, the bow’s longer, straighter riser provides incredible stabilityÂ
ASYM Tri-Track Cam System
The popular ASYM Tri-Track cam system found in previous Elite bow models is built into the EnVision as well for 2022. The unique cam design uses a cable on each side to laterally balance the cable load on each side of the axle. The result is an incredibly stable cam throughout the draw cycle.Â
S.E.T. TechnologyÂ
S.E.T. Technology comes standard with the new EnVision. It’s the simplified tuning technology that changed the game in allowing the shooter to tune his or her own bow without the hassle of making the trip to the archery shop every time an adjustment is needed.Â
The system allows the shooter to micro adjust the limb pivot angle which changes the position of the cams, as well as the lateral position to optimize arrow flight. The end result is greater accuracy with every shot.
Precision Grip
I really like the grip on this bow. It just fits nicely in the hand. It features a narrow throat and a wider base for greater consistency in hand placement on the grip. It’s slim and trim and tucks nicely into the sweet spot of your hand. It was built to provide a more repeatable grip every time you put your hand to the bow.Â
Vibration Reduction
The quiet design of this bow is impressive. It comes from a greater focus on vibration reduction from top to bottom. It starts with the VibeX Blocks nestled in the split limb design, but is rounded out with the all-new VRT-Vibration Reduction Technology for a smooth and quiet shot, on the range and in the the woods.Â
Through the Chrono
Some bows are simply more enjoyable to shoot than others. The EnVision is a sweet shooter, no doubt. It’s built on the reputation Elite has for creating some of the most shootable bows of all time.
I spent some time on the range putting arrows into the foam, as well as through the chrono for a speed test with my hunting arrow.
The arrow was a 410 grain CX Maxima Red. The demo bow was set up at 28″ draw length and cranked down to 70 pounds draw weight.Â
Shot through the chrono, the bow consistently delivered speeds of 290 fps.Â
The EnVision delivers a smooth new shooting experience for 2022. Priced at $1199, it’s easily in the top 5 compound bows for 2022. Check it out at www.elitearchery.com.Â
