Terry Drury Harvests a 170 inch Giant whitetail buck.

75 degrees with a NE wind was all Terry and cameraman could ask for in late September. Terry was hunting a stand very close to bed, yet close enough to catch a nice buck on his way to a lush maximum field. Mark always has high anticipation of the first hunt of the year. Each year Mark tries to take advantage of early September and take a trip out West to try and harvest a buck while he is still in velvet. It's a race with time because historically most of the deer are shed by the end of the first week of September. I selected the Moultrie Game Spy I-40 Infrared unit primarily because it is affordable (around $230 - $240) and has a nice four mega-pixel camera. It takes regular photos during the day and IR flash photos at night. Moultrie advertised some other neat features that I wanted, such as long battery life, quick trigger time and a laser aim that makes aligning the camera a snap.
