Stealth Cam Revolver 360 Trail Camera Review

Trail cameras are easily the single greatest scouting tool ever created for hunters. They allow you to scout, take inventory, monitor herd health, target shooter bucks, monitor trespassers, and more. That is, if all the action takes place in front of the camera. For decades, trail cameras have left hunters wondering, “What’s happening on the other side of my camera?”

At best, trail cameras grab images of what’s happening in the 180 degree swat in front of it. However, that’s all changed now with Stealth Cam’s introduction of its Revolver 360 trail camera.

Check it out in the video below as Todd Graf shares a closer look at this latest camera from Stealth Cam.

The unique design of Stealth Cam’s all-new Revolver 360 cell camera is like having 6 cameras in one. It changes the game when it comes to the missed shots and off-camera action you’ve typically missed from traditional cameras.

“When motion is detected, the Revolver will rotate around as it captures up to six different images to ensure you capture every zone where the camera’s placed,” says Todd Graf.

“It then delivers those six photos right to your phone through Stealth Cam’s app. It’s a great way to gather a lot more intel on the properties you’re hunting.”

Say goodbye to blind spots! Hunters will now get a full 360 degrees of visibility, day and night, to ensure they never miss the action, no matter where it takes place, in the field, or woods, and even when deer are passing behind where the lens is positioned.

The Revolver captures 4MP/8MP/16MP/36MP photos and 1080 HD video with audio.

Will It Spook Deer?

Will the noise of the camera or action of the revolving lens spook deer?

“From what I’ve seen so far, I’m gonna have to say no,” says Graf.

“It’s got a silent motor, and it’s virtually undetectable. I haven’t seen anything that shows deer are concerned with coming back into the area with this camera.”

Custom Setup

The Revolver allows plenty of options when it comes to a custom setup. You can use the camera in its full 360 zone coverage, or set it up to capture limited zones, if you wanted to cover specific portions of the field only.

This is super handy when you want to setup on a field edge, or scrape line. You simply go in to the app on your phone and select the zone settings you desire.

You’ll find 3 different zone options, including: single-zone capture, 180-zone capture and 360-zone capture.

“With the cost of batteries these days, I really like to go with rechargeable batteries for my cameras,” says Graf. “With this Revolver setup, I’m using the FieldMax Lithium battery and it’s charged by solar. I can go a long time without ever having to change batteries out with the FieldMax.”
