Regardless of what the rest of the bowhunting industry is doing, you can always count on there being some serious innovation in the world of broadhead design year after year. Here’s a look at some of the hottest broadheadsย we’ve found this week at the ATA show.
NAP Hammerknocker
The world’s first carbon fiber ferruled broadhead is a 3 blade mechanical broadhead with a massive 2″ cutting diameter.
Dead Ringerโs Just Nasty for Crossbow
This broadhead sports .032-inch stainless steel blades. It has a bone-shattering tip. It has an incredible 3.75-inch cutting diameter. When closed, it has a 1-inch closed cut on contact entry hole. All in all, this is a devastating broadhead.
Rage Hypo +P
This broadhead is the new โrageโ literally and figuratively. This 100-grain broadhead features the precision-machined stainless steel Hypodermic ferrule with .035-inch-thick blades. It has a 1.5-inch cutting diameter but provides a 2-inch โslap cutโ entry hole. Comes packaged with a practice tip.
Rage SS-85
This product is an expansion of Rageโs high-speed, low energy line of broadheads. This broadhead features a swept blade angle and has the same anodized aluminum ferrule and leading-edge blade designs used in the Rage X-treme. It has a 1.5-inch cutting diameter. This is a great option for those shooting bows with less than 40 ft./lbs.
WASP Dueler
The new Dueler is a great product. This two-blade mechanical head offers effectiveness. It weighs 100 grains. The Select-A-Cut technology allows hunters to set the broadhead at 1.5- or 2-plus-inch cuts. This one comes in a three-pack.
