NDA announces change in their board of directors.
The National Deer Alliance has named eight individuals well-versed in conservation and the hunting and shooting industries to the first NDA Board of Directors.
The NDA Board represents all segments of the deer and deer hunting community. Officers from all three national deer conservation organizations have agreed to serve on the Board, as have representatives of state fish-and-wildlife agencies, the archery and firearms trade associations, and major companies in the hunting markets. The Board expects to add members soon to further broaden its scope.
The National Deer Alliance Board of Directors includes …
- Brian Murphy: CEO, Quality Deer Management Association
- Ryan Bronson: Director of Conservation and Public Policy at Vista Outdoors Inc.
- Chris Dolnack: Senior Vice President/CMO, National Shooting Sports Foundation
- Ron Regan: Executive Director, Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies
- Jay McAninch: President/CEO, Archery Trade Association
- Jeff Schinkten: President, Whitetails Unlimited
- Miles Moretti: President/CEO, Mule Deer Foundation
- Randy Walk: President, Hoyt Archery
Craig Dougherty, NDA executive director, said the Board represents what the NDA is all about. “By bringing together all parties interested in deer and deer hunting, we can work toward common goals vital to the future of deer and deer hunting,” Dougherty said. “Our initial group of Board members are movers and shakers in their respective categories.”
Each NDA Board member has extensive experience developing policy, setting direction, and establishing operational/strategic plans. They have worked in the legislative, regulatory and advocacy arenas to establish hunting, shooting and wildlife conservation policy. Further, they’re all lifelong deer hunters and true advocates for deer and deer hunting.
