Realtree Camo Housing and Quick Clips from GoPro

By January 21, 2016

The worldโ€™s No. 1 camera is now concealed by the worldโ€™s top camouflage patterns.ย GoPro and Realtree have partnered to unveil camouflage GoPro camera housings and Quick Clips in two Realtree patterns. The products were introduced at the 2016 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show.

The rugged, waterproof, non-reflective housings will let you record your outdoors adventures with the ultimate concealment. Theyโ€™re compatible with GoPro HERO4 Black, HERO4 Silver, HERO3+ and HERO3 cameras. The color-matched QuickClip allows you to attach a GoPro to a backward baseball cap or any object 3 to 10 mm thick.

Camo Housing + Quick Clips come in Realtree Xtra and Realtree Max-5. Xtra is designed for concealment in woodland environments. It features unprecedented depth and lifelike images, allowing it to blend perfectly year-round in various environments. Max-5 features multiple elements โ€” including cattails, reeds, cane, grasses, corn, wheat, oats, sunflowers, twigs and leaves โ€” to camouflage your GoPro in various waterfowl habitats, such as green timber, open fields or flooded marshes.

The camera housings are waterproof to 131 feet, or about 40 meters. They come with LCD concealment stickers to eliminate light reflection from camera LCD windows and include standard, skeleton and touch back doors.

The partnership seems natural. GoPro is well-known to hunting, fishing and outdoors enthusiasts as makers of the worldโ€™s most versatile cameras.

โ€œWe have passionate ideas about whatโ€™s possible in this world,โ€ GoPro founder and chief executive officer Nicholas Woodman wrote on the companyโ€™s website. โ€œOur passions lead us to create experiences and realities that expand our world and inspire those around us.

โ€œGoPro helps people capture and share their livesโ€™ most meaningful experiences with others โ€” to celebrate them together. Like how a day on the mountain with friends is more meaningful than one spent alone, the sharing of our collective experiences makes our lives more fun.โ€

Realtree, meanwhile, is recognized as the industryโ€™s top camouflage designer. Founded in 1986 by Bill Jordan, the company employs more than 80 people in Columbus, Ga., and has more than 2,000 licensees.

Whether you want to stand out or blend into the wild, GoPro Camo Housing + Quick Clips in Realtree are the products youโ€™ve been waiting for.
